ZeroDev Sound

A FiveM car audio and speaker script for QBCore, ESX, Qbox and standalone servers: players build systems into their own cars and set down speakers that move with the music.

This resource does not contain or provide any third-party audio or music integrations. Music plays only from audio files the server owner adds to the resource and GTA's built-in radio. Players cannot enter links. Only add audio you own or hold the rights to use and distribute; streaming content without permission can breach the Cfx.re Creator Platform License Agreement and the law.

Sound

Overview

Speakers your players buy, carry, link and build into their cars.

ZeroDev Sound gives your players real speakers: a portable they carry, home speakers that link room to room, a full stage rig for events, and car audio they build into their own cars piece by piece, from a trunk wall to a Dominican roof wall.

Sound comes from where the speaker stands, through walls and out of open car doors, and every woofer and sub moves with the music. One remote runs it all: /sound, E at a speaker, or the Sound app in Pulse Phone.

  • 120car audio parts: subs from 8" to 21", Dominican walls, horn columns and chucheros
  • 10models: handheld, home and concert
  • 16speakers linked into one system
  • 250 mbetween linked concert speakers

Sound 3.0

What's new in ZeroDev Sound 3.0

Released 20 October 2026.

New 3D models

Every speaker and car part is a new model, with cones that move wherever there are drivers: subs, walls, horn columns, chucheros and the Roam.

120 car parts

Dominican speaker walls, horn columns, chucheros, cornetas, a roof rack, van barn-door panels and cargo walls, a pickup bed tower, SX subs 10" to 21", pods, false floors, LED channels, live screens and a sound trailer.

Ready layouts

Dominican roof wall (chipeo), van barn doors, van cargo walls, pickup bed tower and trunk walls. The bay only offers what fits the car in front of it.

Fits any car

Parts sit on the car's own surfaces. A part too big for one spot tries the others or goes in at the largest size that fits; one that fits nowhere is refused with the reason.

Wall builder

Rows and columns of panels, swap a single cell, stand a chuchero on top.

Chipeo mode

On the head unit: the car bounces harder on the kick and the LED strips pulse.

Sound by place

Speakers on the roof, in a pickup bed or on open barn doors play out to the street. In the cabin, open doors and windows change the sound.

25 languages

The interface in the same 25 languages as Pulse Phone.

Coming from 1.x? Your speakers, installs and playlists carry over. Read the update notes first.

Compatibility

Found on start, with ten inventories. The console prints the exact item entries for your inventory, ready to paste.

Check your setup

Pick what your server runs. Each answer comes from our test records: tested in game or start-up checked means we ran it; supported, not verified means the code is there but no test has been recorded yet.

Police and neighbours

Police can turn a speaker off or seize it, neighbours report loud music with /noise, and quiet hours cap the volume at night.

Installs follow the plate

A car install follows the plate through any garage, impound or respawn. No garage edits.

Admin list

/soundadmin shows every speaker, what it plays and who owns it, with stop and remove. Its Settings tab changes bays, prices, limits and quiet hours live.

Readable and editable

Config, catalogue, vehicles, locales and the framework bridge stay open. Placed speakers survive restarts.

FAQ

Can I update from 1.x?

Yes. Replace the folder, keep your config.lua and vehicles.lua, and use the new catalogue.lua. Your speakers, car installs and playlists carry over on their own. The package includes UPGRADING.md.

Do I need Pulse Phone?

No. ZeroDev Sound works on its own with /sound and E at a speaker. With Pulse Phone 1.2.9 or newer you also get the Sound app and the car stereo on Pulse Drive.

Which cars can players build?

By default, cars in your framework's owned-vehicles table (owned_vehicles on ESX, player_vehicles on QBCore and Qbox); set Config.Install.vehicles = 'any' to allow NPC, spawned and rental cars too. On a standalone server every car counts. Boxes stand on the measured boot floor of 336 base-game cars; on add-on cars every part is placed by hand in the installer.

How many speakers and parts can a server run?

120 is the number of car audio parts to choose from, not a limit per car. A player can place 8 speakers by default (Config.MaxPlacedPerPlayer, admins have no limit) and link up to 16 into one system (Config.MaxLinkedPerGroup). To keep clients smooth, players hear up to 6 separate songs at once and up to 24 cones move per frame (Config.Streaming). All of these are settings; raising them costs performance on busy servers.

Where does the music come from?

From the song files you add to the resource, and GTA's built-in radio. No API key or account is needed. Players pick from your songs; they cannot enter links, and nothing a player types or pastes is played.

Every song gets 3D sound, the sound modes, the EQ and cones that move with the bass. How to add songs is in the install guide.

Will car installs survive garages and restarts?

Yes. An install is saved in your database against the plate and comes back through any garage, impound or respawn. A car with a fake or changed plate does not find its install until its saved plate is back, and cars that exist only on one player's screen (garage previews, some showroom cars) cannot get one.

How does the trial work?

Try ZeroDev Sound free for 7 days. It then continues at $20/month plus applicable tax unless cancelled before renewal. One trial per customer. Manage or cancel through Tebex.

Buying, delivery and licence questions are on the support page.
